22-Rev. Richard J. Landers, a member of the Vincentian Order and: a native of this city, died today home in Milton, after long illness. He was instructor at the Catholic Novitiate of the Vincentian Order at Princeton, N. retiring several years ago because of ill health.

Fr. Landers was born in this city: son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Landers, and was educated in St. Jerome schools.

He studied at Holy Cross College, Worcester, for two years before entering the Grand Seminary, Montreal, where he made his philosophical and theological studies. He was ordained about 48 years ago and served for many years in the Davenport, district where his brother, the late Rev. Patrick Landers a pastor. The two priests later resigned from the western diocese and entered the Vincentian Order in Bo3. ton many years ago.

Fr. Patrick Landers died seven veara ago. Grace Landers, associated with Pr. Landers leaves a sister, Arise State Department of Public Health in Boston; several first cousins including the Misses Mary Jane and Catherine. O'Connell of this city, Rev.
